22. April 2023
More than a year has passed since Russia invaded Ukraine on 24 February 2022. As the war continues, a solution at the negotiating table seems unattainable and the outcome remains uncertain. How can we assess the situation in Ukraine? What possible developments lie ahead? What implications does the war have for the accession of individual states to the European Union? What scenarios are conceivable for an end to the war?
Discussion will be held together with:
Niels Annen, Parliamentary State Secretary at the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development
Benedetta Berti, Head of Policy Planning, Office of the Secretary General, North Atlantic Treaty Organization
Peter Beyer, Member of the German Bundestag of the CDU, Member of the Bundestag's Committee on Foreign Affairs
Reinhard Bütikofer, Member of the European Parliament, Alliance 90/The Greens
Vlada Galan, Political Strategist and Communications Expert
Iuliia Osmolovska, Director, GLOBSEC Kyiv Office
Moderation by Ali Aslan, International TV Presenter and Journalist
